It operates on the philosophy of\nRecover Recycle and Reuse (3Rs). It complies with the requirements of HSE\nmanagement system, continually improving its effectiveness by enhancing its\nprocesses, resources and principles in conformance with OHSAS &#8211; 18001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this endeavour, WBWML\nshall strive to be Conscious of its responsibility towards creating,\nconserving, and ascertaining a clean environment for sustainable development and\nprotect the health &amp; safety of all its associated workforce, thereby\nensuring a safe, healthy and accident free work place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To meet this\ncommitment towards achieving operational excellence in HSE objectives REEL\nshall:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Adopt\nappropriate operational practices, safety systems and suitable methods to\nmonitor, control and minimize the risk &amp; impact of its activities on HSE.<\/li><li>Ensure\nthat its operations at-least comply with applicable HSE laws, regulations and\nstatutory provisions.<\/li><li>Ascertain\nthat appropriate resources are made available to implement HSE policy and\ncontinuously review the policy\u2019s relevance with respect to legal aspects,\ncommunity and business development.<\/li><li>Develop\nand maintain a motivated workforce trained for effective management of HSE and\nemergency situations.<\/li><li>Provide\ninformation on HSE policy to the concerned authorities &amp; interested parties\nand converse with business associates to facilitate their health and safety\nimprovement with the intent of their individual HSE obligations.<\/li><li>Cultivate\na work culture where the HSE policy is understood, implemented and maintained\nby employees at all levels within the organization.<\/li><li>Continually\nimprove its HSE performance by setting objectives &amp; targets and conduct\nregular audits to ensure that operations are incompliance with HSE management\nsystem requirements.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>West Bengal Waste Management Ltd (WBWML) is committed to responsible management of waste, and protection and improvement of the environment.
